Large late 18th century bronze 16 light antique Italian chandelier

A truly magnificent late 18th century bronze 16 light antique Italian chandelier of the most exceptional quality casting. The chandelier has a stunning frame in the embodiment of twisted vines and acanthus leaves, with vine leaves, grapes and flowers, all with a beautifully aged bronze patina. The decorative central column is also adorned with acanthus leaves, vine leaves and bunches of grapes. Exquisite rings of vine leaves hung with crystal shards form the bobeche which support the candle holders. The chandelier is adorned with beautiful large crystal leaves.
